CTM Legacy
About
For the past 8 years, the legacy of Cheikh Tairou Mbaye (CTM) has been Celebrated by bringing our diverse community together through African dance, music, art and culture. This celebration takes place over 3 full weekend days and attracts those who are enthusiastic, not only about continuing the legacy of CTM but also who are engaged and committed to the preservation of African art and culture.
Babacar MBaye, Randi Clarke and the CTM Team curate a memorable event that permeates the hearts of the attendees through out the year. CTM guests travel from far and wide to study under the greatest Masters of African Diaspora dance.
The biggest attraction for the community are the guest instructors that arrive from Japan, France, Africa and parts of the U.S. and the chance to learn highly sought after but rarely taught dance styles such as Ndombolo from Congo and Leumbeul from Senegal.
